GuildSelect is an invite-only directory of independent home-service contractors, chosen for their public Google record and presented in profiles we write ourselves. We are starting in Tampa, Florida. We are collecting the first founding profiles now, and the searchable directory opens soon.
Curating the builders behind Tampa Bay's most exacting homes.
Most directories auction craft off to whoever pays for the lead. GuildSelect is a curated public record of reputation.
Every profile is invited against its public Google record, and every number behind that invitation is on the page — the rating, the verified review count and the years in business. Nothing is paid for, and nothing can be bought in.
Nobody can apply, pay or list themselves in. We approach contractors whose record has already earned it.
Every profile shows the Google rating and review count behind the invitation, so you can judge the record yourself.
Three public tests: a high Google rating, a substantial body of verified reviews and an established track record. Public data only.
Each profile is an editorial piece by our own writers, never supplied by the business and never a paid advertorial.
The entries below are illustrative examples, not real businesses. The founding cohort is being invited now, and real profiles will take their place as they are published.
Example profile
Central air replacements and duct sealing for Florida's heat and humidity.
Example profile
Repiping and slab-leak repair in older Gulf Coast bungalows.
Example profile
Tile and metal re-roofs built for hurricane season.
Browsing by trade opens with the directory. Each trade below fills as its first profiles are published.
Membership opens in classes, in the order contractors join. The first members help us build the directory, and their rate is theirs for as long as they remain a member.
Then $29 a month for as long as you remain a member.
Further classes follow the Founding Twenty. Their terms will be announced before the directory opens.
We are collecting the first profiles now, one invited contractor at a time, so that the directory opens with substance rather than a list of empty pages. Search by trade and territory switches on when it does.
